This exciting opportunity for local people to own a genuine stake in a number of new wind turbines was created by NRG Solutions in partnership with Energy4All.
Drumlin Wind Energy Co-op enabled individuals and local organisations to become members and invest for a reasonable financial return in this new local enterprise.
Drumlin Co-op raised £2.7 million in 2012 to build four 250kW WTN turbines on four separate sites in Northern Ireland (Cavanoneill, Aghafad, Ballyboley and Parkgate).
In 2014 Drumlin Co-op raised £1.2 million in a second share offer for two further sites at Ballyrobert, Co. Antrim and Cavanakill, Co. Armagh each with a 250kW turbine.
All six turbines are now generating clean, green energy.
